COMPOTIER .       16 cm.

Semi- eggshell .  Painted in chinese taste style, with very subtil FAMILLE  ROSE  on pure white porcelain . A blossoming  peony branch with finely detailed green leaves,and bearing  2 blossoming flowers ; in the air a flying  butterfly,again exceptionaly well detailed . On the rim of the backside 3 flowering branches .

Period :          YONGZHENG :      1723 - 1735 .

DEEP   PLATE .        23 cm.      " Ruby back " .

Decorated in a rich variety of FAMILLE  ROSE , illustrating a  river- and mountain scene : we see sampans, pagoda's , fishermen ,pavilions  in the wood , mountains .    All enclosed by a diaper  pink pattern border with 3  floral reserves .  The reverse has a  ruby-back glaze on the rim.

Period :           YONGZHENG   :     1723 - 1735 .

Painted in  brilliant   FAMILLE  ROSE .  In the center  a natural scene , illustrating 2 coqs in combat, on a peony rock  . The rim with a pink  quadrillé fond, with 4 reserves on it, filled in with the 4  fruits, representing tyhe 4 seasons.

DEEP   DISH .       23 cm.

Semi-eggshell  pure white  porcelain,  enamelled in brilliant  FAMILLE ROSE . In the center a family -scene illustrating an elder man seated in a chair, being offered a pomegranate by a younger boy ; a young woman seated  on a turquoise garden seat watching another boy holding a fishing rod .  The rim with flower sprays, butterflies and insects on a grisaille cell- pattern  ground.

Period :              YONGZHENG  :       1723 - 1735 .

On a pink diaper 'quadrillé' fond, there is a large leaf-shaped panel outlined with peonies and other flowers , illustrating a very well detailed phaesant perched on rockwork .

SAUCER - DISH .       22 cm.

Painted in  chinese taste style,  in  very subtil and fine FAMILLE  ROSE .  In the center a family-scene with a mother and her 3 sons , playing with a pair of white rabbits , all in a very rich  chinese mobilier- interior .  The cavetto with a band of  pink-rose diaper,  floral reserves and gilt medaillons.

Period :         YONGZHENG :      1723 - 1735 .

Painted in  subtil  FAMILLE  ROSE  " en plein ".  2 court-ladies leaning on a table , and a boy , all watching a " cock-fight" .  On the back-side  an underglaze-blue  double ring to the center.

Very rare  CUP   &   SAUCER .

The fond-color is of very brilliant upperglaze blue tone. In the center depiction of a black-and-white dog,sitting by flowers ; surrounded by 3 leaf-shaped panels with gilt stems, showing cocks and peonies .

Period :         YONGZHENG  :      1723 - 1735 .

Semi-eggshell porcelain , with barbed rim.  Painted with extremely subtil and delicate  FAMILLE  ROSE . In the center a leaf-shaped reserve, where-in we see a pair of mandarin-ducks in  gilt,and very lively  detailed ,  floating in a lotus pondbetween peony flowers . The rim with a pink-diaper ground , on which 3 floral reserves.

This set illustrates a rare and fine example of the Chinese Taste, and therefor differing in every way from the elaborately decorated pieces intended for the european maket .  Very finely shaped to ressemble a flower : 6 sides with rounded corners . Deocration done in very fine FAMILLE ROSE , illustrating a fisherman's family, fishing in the Yellow River ,  on a sampan . All watched by 2 elder men  drinking tea on the border of the river.

Very delicately painted in subtil  FAMILLE  ROSE .   Ladies on horseback in a grisaille landscape; one lady holding a " ruyi-scepter"  . All within  densely patterned  geometric- and floral scroll bands .
